Quickstart

This guide takes you from an empty account to a transcribed and scored call. All you need is a recording of a real call in MP3, WAV, OGG or M4A.

  1. Create your account

Go to app.caller.ee/sign-up, enter your name, your email and a password of at least 8 characters, and accept the terms. You get an 8-digit code by email, valid for 15 minutes. Enter it to confirm your address.

If the code does not arrive, see Account access.

  2. Create a template

The template says what the AI has to check in each call. Without a template, calls are transcribed but not scored.

Go to Templates and, under Start from an example, pick the one closest to your work (for example “Customer Support (Standard)”) and click Use this one. The editor opens with its criteria already written. Change them if you want and click Create template. Nothing is saved until then.

The first template you create is marked Default: it is the one that scores calls that do not belong to any campaign.

  3. Add your team

In Team, click Add agent and fill in the name. If your recordings carry the agent’s code in the file name (AG1143_…), enter it in Code in the telephony system. That way each call is filed under its agent without anyone having to sort it.

This step is optional if you are only trying Caller out, but without agents you will not see the comparison between people.

  4. Upload a call

Click Upload calls at the top of the sidebar and drag in the recording. Check the agent and the date Caller read from the file name, then click Upload 1 call.

  5. Open the result

The call is transcribed and analyzed on its own, usually within a few minutes. The screen updates without reloading. When the call shows as Ready in Calls, open it. You see the transcript, the summary and the score for each criterion, with the sentence that justifies it.

  • Several queues or several clients. Create campaigns so that each group of calls is scored with its own template and in its own language.
  • You have written scripts or protocols. Upload them to Knowledge and have the criteria consult them.
  • You want to stop uploading by hand. With the API, your telephony system sends each recording when the call ends.
